What is going on with the SBCCA you may ask? Well, the board met on Wednesday, May 13th (via a Zoom conference call), to put a tentative plan in place. I would like to share that with you now.
We plan on providing a three-concert season starting in January of 2021.
The canceled concert, Dustbowl Revival, will be put back into our selection for 2021-2022 series along with the other 3 concerts that were scheduled for this fall.
With that said, your safety and wellbeing are our foremost concern. As we move forward, please know that we will make any changes or cancellations necessary to ensure our environment is acceptable to whatever the situation will lend itself. For example, if we cannot gather in public by January, our season would be canceled.
We do not plan to start our subscription drive until maybe November, when we will hopefully have a better understanding of what the future will look like. So please be patient with us and we will continue to communicate to you with any updates or cancelations on our website and FaceBook.
We miss you all and our wonderful concerts. If you would like to share how you are doing, please go onto our FaceBook page. We’d love to hear from you! I do look forward to when we can once again gather together to enjoy a live performance.
